CRUSA Intramural

Spring 2026 (U4-U19)

CRUSA Intramural

The CRUSA Intramural program is for U4-U19 Boys & Girls who are interested in recreational play. The goals of the Intramural program are to develop an interest in soccer, introduce basic soccer skills and have fun! At the younger ages, the emphasis should be exclusively on having fun, learning the basics of the game and getting all players involved in the game. As players get older, having fun is still the number one priority but keeping score and having referees become part of the routine. All players and parents are reminded that player development and enjoying the game are what intramural is all about. Always support and cheer your child’s effort and involvement and not just the results.

A change this year in our U14-U19 age groups will have our teams playing each other in our CRUSA Strada program...a newly created 7v7 or 9v9 format. We will play all games CRUSA v CRUSA, on Saturdays, on our home fields. It is important for these ages to register early, so we can determine how many teams we can form and if we need to add players to the field.

We encourage you to learn more about CRUSA Strada and this exciting new U14-U19 format.

Player Ages:
Birth dates between 1/1/07 and 8/31/2022.
To determine your child’s age group click here for a link to the 2025-2026 Age Group Matrix.

Program Cost:
Early registration fee of $160. After 2/15, cost to play is $185.

Spring Soccer:
Games start on Saturday, April 11th.

Coaches:
CRUSA Intramural is the club's largest program. Approximately 1,100 children play in the fall season. Therefore, the need for coaches is substantial.

We rely on volunteer coaches for all teams. Please register as assistant or head coach and join the fun with your player. Training is provided for coaches prior to and during each season. CRUSA welcomes new and experienced coaches into the Intramural Program.  All volunteers will need to complete required background checks. Please reference the Volunteer Background Check Process.

Equipment:
CRUSA provides a jersey and socks for each child participating in the Intramural Program. Parents are expected to provide shorts, shin guards and soccer cleats. Failure to wear either shin guards or cleats will result in the player being ineligible to participate.

Practices:
All teams practice once during the week on a day determined by your volunteer coach, in addition to playing one game on the weekend.

If you have a practice night conflict that you are aware of when you register, please use the special request box during registration to indicate - for example, "No Monday practice" - and we will work to get you on a team that practices on a different night.

Jewelry:
We would like to remind you of the following rule from the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association: All items of jewelry (necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, leather bands, rubber bands, etc.) are forbidden and must be removed. Using tape or bandaids to cover jewelry is not permitted.

As with failure to wear shin guards or cleats, a player wearing jewelry will not be allowed to play. There will be NO exceptions. Please have your child prepared for their games and practices as required.

Requests:
While you may request up to 2 friends to play with please be aware that they may not be granted as we attempt to competitively balance rosters. Coach requests are never guaranteed.

Volunteer Opt-out Fee:
We are asking Intramural families for a little volunteer time to help CRUSA improve our facilities and the overall experience of our players. We have several volunteer positions that you can choose for intramural and travel events. We ask each household to volunteer 3-4 hours per season. Field Maintenance or Tournament (Travel or Intramural) Volunteer are all areas where you can volunteer your time. Alternatively, you may choose to pay a volunteer opt-out fee of $20.

Refunds:
Registration fee refunds are considered on an individual basis and administrative fees will be applied for dropped registrations. In general, once the season begins no refunds are given. Late fees are not refundable.
